*Sigh*. Work has been really tough this week. I'm desperately fighting that "the honeymoon is over" feeling in the pit of my stomach.

I'm not sure, but what I think is happening, is that I've never had to do this kind of work for three months in a row before. It's mentally and physically draining and usually, you get a little break between gigs. Not so when you are a staff member somewhere.

I'm not complaining, though. Not at all. Any job that allows you to knit during the downtime is A-OK with me, Boy-o. And there is a lot of downtime - waiting for approval on shots and hanging around while photographers fiddle with the lighting. All knitting opportunities for me! While others and flipping through magazines, I'm making myself a sweet alpaca sweater!

Suckers!!!

But I'm finding that having a regular 9-6 job has put a crimp in my production time. I've also started going to the gym down the street from the studio and by the time I get home, it's 8:30 and I have to eat dinner and there's only really 2 (if I'm lucky) solid hours of crafting time!!!! I'm starting to freak out! My To Do list is out of control!

But I asked for it. I asked for the perfect job that would let me do what I love and give me health benefits at the same time. Oh yeah, and the knitting at work thing.

Now if I could only get my sewing machine up there.

(P.S. Maybe I should stop calling the people I work for "suckers". They might catch on to me!)

Knitting at work? That is a true dream! Sometimes I think about just closing my office door to get in a few rows.
