This is kind of a big step for me. I joined a gym. I know it may not seem like a big deal to a lot of people, but for me it's tremendous.

For a long time I was Anti-Gym. I didn't understand why people paid to exercise. Just go outside! Ride a bike! Take a walk! Easy, right?

Well, I walk every day, all the time, everywhere and it doesn't seem to contribute to any kind of improvement of physical fitness or weight loss. Hence, the gym membership.

My new gym is one block away from my store. ONE BLOCK. It's so convenient it's ridiculous. Does more Gym Time mean less Crafty Time at The Works? I hope not. I hope it will help me manage my time better.

One can dream, can't they?

Good Luck! I have been walking more myself. My knitting just doesn't burn the calories like I had hoped!

i love the gym! there's a certain amount of satisfaction in working on your body and making yourself fit to enjoy all the other things life has to offer.. like not sweating or panting at the top of the subway stairs :)

but seriously, if you can make a habit of it, going to the gym gets easier and easier!

(i'm still kicking myself for not responding to the radio contest - i love your bags!!)

Wow, I'm impressed. I have nothing but admiration for people who join gyms. I just wish I was more like them.
