Oh, hi. You're still here? Thanks for hanging in there.
There have been a lot of changes chez Needleworks in the last month: I've moved to NJ (suddenly), a very long (10 year) relationship ended, and my life, in general is in a state of upheaval.
I'm trudging along, but there's not much crafting being done in these parts. All of my things are in boxes, which makes it difficult. I'm not quite ready to unearth everything yet.
I am doing quite a bit of knitting on my (2 hours each way) commute, so I'll have something to share very quickly.
Be patient with me while I figure things out. I'm still trying to decide how this blog will be a part of my new life. It seems so ingrained in the old one in so many ways, that I was tempted to stop it all together. A part of me, though, really wants to keep it.
So, here we are.

I'm so sorry to hear that. I know from experience that abrupt changes are hard to deal with... I'm sure that you'll figure out your new life :)
I hope you are doing okay and are finding some excitement in the newness of all the changes. I know it's hard but you've got a lot of support and people thinking about you!
Rebecca I hope you're OK!!! Where in NJ are you? I go to NJ a lot to visit my boyfriend and I would love to come visit you there sometime. We should definitely hang out and knit together soon. Don't be lonely!! I can't wait to see what you are working on. It's a lot easier to embrace commutes when there's knitting. Take care and write back!!!
New life - new haircut - new background colour on your blog (and I stress "new background colour", instead of "leaving your blog").
Lots of energy! And commuting can be such a good thing if you can knit! :)
